Situated right beside The Rainbow Hostel, Doolin Café offers scrumptious breakfasts and lunches. They have outdoor seating for the sunny days available.

McDermott’s Pub

Only 2 minutes walk from the hostel, McDermott’s is a traditional Irish pub serving the best food at lunch and dinner. They have rousing Irish music sessions in the evenings and Patsy, the owner, is the best host. She always takes great care of her customers and makes sure everyone has a good time.

McGann’s Pub

Just across the bridge and also 2 minutes walk from the Rainbow Hostel, McGann’s is another traditional Irish pub with a variety of food options. They are open for lunch and dinner as well but also serve great breakfasts. The traditional music sessions at McGann’s will enrich your soul and get your feet tapping, 100% guaranteed!

Russell’s Fish Shop

Russell’s Fish Shop at Fiddle & Bow Hotel is a recent addition to Doolin and is only 5 minutes walk from the hostel. It is a remarkable take-away that serves a good choice of tasty seafood at affordable prices. They also have tables available outside.

Stonewall Café is part of Hotel Doolin and they offer a variety of food, have friendly staff and ample outside eating area. They serve a choice of sandwiches, pizzas, daily specials and sweet treats and they are near the Rainbow Hostel as well, about 5-7 minutes walk.

Fitzpatrick’s Bar

Another food outlet at Hotel Doolin and commonly referred to as “Fitz’s Bar”, Fitzpatrick’s serves really good pub food with friendly staff. Don’t miss their Monday night music sessions as well (one of our top tips), you won’t be sorry.

Stonecutters Kitchen Restaurant

This beautiful, family run restaurant is located only 5 minutes drive from the hostel, on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. They offer really good food in friendly surroundings, and there is plenty of outside tables for the sunny days. They also have an outdoor play area which children will love.

Anthony’s Restaurant at Doolin Inn

Anthony’s Restaurant, which is part of Doolin Inn, is about 10 mins walk from the Rainbow Hostel, on the way to Doolin Pier. Spoil yourself with their delicious food and helpful staff and enjoy their outside terrace overlooking Fisher Street and the Atlantic ocean.

Oar Restaurant
